Cloud Nine Straighteners

Cloud Nine straighteners were launched in 2010 and have become a popular alternative to ghd.

One big advantage Cloud Nines have over ghd is the ability to control the temperature. ghds have two heat settings... off or on (!) and you really don't need all that heat when you are just smoothing down a blow dry. The styler can be set to 100, 125, 150, 175 and 200 degrees and you would really only need it at the higest heat setting for straightening very thick hair.

Like ghd, Cloud Nine irons are great for both straightening and curling and many stylists feel they actually perform better for the later.

They were also the first styler to have a protective plastic covering to keep the irons closed, which seems a small point, but is a nice touch and one which ghd have now copied with the gold series.

Cloud Nine was developed by one of the original founders of ghd, working alongside the original manufacturers so their experience in the hair straightening market has produced a fantastic iron and a great alternative.
